As the Turkish Medical Radiotechnology Association, we attended the first Balkan Congress for Radiology Technicians (the 1st Balkan Congress of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists) as invited guests. Our Association President, Mr. Hasan Cantürk, our Board Member, Mr. Mehmet Erkek, and our General Manager, Mr. Barış Cavlı, were invited to participate.
This event was an important step in overcoming challenges faced in the field through collaboration among associations in the Balkan countries, improving the quality of education, and sharing successful examples. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Balkan Congress organizing committee.
We also met with Mr. Dimitris Katsifarakis, CEO of the International Society of Radiology (ISRRT), and Ms. Patrizia Cornacchione, President of the European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS). During these cordial meetings, we discussed ways to increase cooperation and collaborate on future events. We thank everyone who contributed to this valuable event.
